Farmers who switched to FarmCFO

Real feedback from Canadian grain farmers managing their finances with FarmCFO.

★★★★★

"I used to spend two full weekends before tax season digging through bank statements. Now everything is already categorized and my T2042 is basically done by December."

"The AgriStability tracker alone is worth it. I always felt like I was flying blind on our margin. Now I know exactly where we stand every month without calling our agrologist."

Common questions

Everything you need to know before you get started.

Is FarmCFO only for grain farmers? +

FarmCFO is purpose-built for Canadian grain and oilseed operations — canola, wheat, barley, oats, peas, lentils, and more. The chart of accounts, T2042 prep, and AgriStability tracker are all calibrated for grain farming. If you also have livestock, you can still track it manually, but the specialized tools are grain-focused.

Which Canadian banks does FarmCFO connect to? +

FarmCFO connects to RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, and most major chartered banks via Plaid. For credit unions — including Conexus, Affinity, Access Credit Union, MNP, Servus, First West, and hundreds more — we use Flinks. If your bank isn't listed, you can always import transactions manually via CSV.

Can I import from QuickBooks or AgExpert? +

Yes. FarmCFO can import transaction history from QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and FCC AgExpert via CSV export. Just export your data from your current software and upload it — your categories and history transfer over automatically.

Is my financial data secure? +

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. FarmCFO never has access to your online banking credentials — we use read-only bank connections through Plaid and Flinks. Your data is stored in Canada and is never sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What's included in the free trial? +

The 14-day free trial gives you full access to every Farm Pro feature — bank connections, AI Bookkeeper, receipt scanning, T2042 prep, AgriStability tracker, and lender packages. A credit card is required to start the trial. If you cancel before day 14, you won't be charged anything.

Can I cancel anytime? +

Yes — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings at any time. If you cancel a monthly plan, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable after the trial period ends.

Do I need accounting experience to use FarmCFO? +

Not at all. FarmCFO is designed for farmers, not accountants. The AI Bookkeeper categorizes your transactions automatically, and you can ask it plain-English questions like "What were my top expenses this year?" or "Am I on track for AgriStability?" We also have onboarding guides and Canadian-specific help docs built in.
